My life pre-PhD involved a lot of dancing. I also used to write. Then the Vogons made it clear that I was no longer welcome on their planet. It was that bad.
More seriously, when I am not writing bad poetry ( or reading splendid poetry!) during lunch breaks, I help with the department's (Exeter - Penryn campus) equality and diversity working group. Currently, I am mainly involved with the group's LGBTQ+ and Women in STEM projects. We are a small group, but sometimes we get stuff done. Find us here!
